Two goals from Fernando Torres, Liverpool thrashed Portsmouth 4-1, last in the standings, this Monday, 15th March 2010, in the final game of the 30th day of the English soccer Premier League, and this result recovered cib fifth place in the championship.
The goals were scored by the Spanish Torres (26’, 77’), Dutchman Ryan Babel (28’) and Italy's Alberto Aquilani (32), while for Portsmouth on the final docked Algerian defender Nadir Belhadj (88’).
